The background of this website features a real-time simulation of the Three-Body Problem. Gravity becomes difficult to predict once you have more than two bodies. Small changes have big effects, and this turns what seems simple, into a computationally hard problem.
I'm Penelope!
I’ve been programming for most of my life. My earliest professional experience with programming was back in 2013, but I had begun programming in 2011 with Java. I’ve had the pleasure of working with all kinds of technologies in many different industries. I've taken to calling myself an End-to-End developer, as I've worked within all stages of the software development lifecycle. My specialty is not with any one technology, but rather on seeing the bigger picture.
One of the things that I live for is learning new things. I find that many different disciplines have skills that overlap with one another. If you want to be able to draw a better brick, spend a day making bricks, learn the science behind it. Software Engineering is always associated with another engineering, so if you want to build better software, you must learn more about everything.
I myself partake in a variety of hobbies. I make 3D animations on my YouTube channel, I make music, and I draw and paint. I even have an open water SCUBA certification, proving I can handle pressure. I've also made small video games, even scoring 13th in the world-wide game jam Ludum Dare.
Currently based in the Netherlands, I am transitioning back to professional engineering following a short time studying in the Netherlands.

- Developed and maintained an inventory requisition system to support the acquisition and integration of HD Biosciences, another company, into WuXi AppTec.

Software Engineer Jan 2021 - Aug 2023- Played a key role in the company's transition during its acquisition by Kaseya. Managed legacy system migrations.
- Developed integrations with credit card processing platforms and third-party APIs using .NET Blazor and .NET WebAPI.
- Automated internal business processes through custom WordPress software developed in PHP and JS with Vue and Vuex.
